The Zendai Himalayas Cinema is a 4,000 square meters, 7-auditorium, 1,100-seat movie-plex inserted into the 7th and 8th floors of the Zendai Himalayas Center, a City of Shanghai, China, mixed-use landmark designed by the world-renowned Japanese architect Arata Isozaki and completed in 2010. The design of the Cinema sought to absorb, then abstract, and purport to amplify the ideals that shaped its host building.
