Earl is a senior architect with more than 50 years of professional practice who specializes in document quality control and project delivery.

Throughout his career, he has served in the role of the architect as well as the construction manager on significant projects across the United States that has nurtured his deep understanding of the critical relationships between the design and construction priorities and accountabilities. His notable projects include a 55-story, 1.2 million SF Office Building in Denver, Colorado; a historic renovation of a Federal Court Facility in Portland, Maine; the $200 million Omni Convention Center Hotel and Condominium in Fort Worth, Texas; and the $300 million DeVos Children’s Hospital in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

At 5G Studio Collaborative, he has been responsible for the professional development of young architects and is an inexhaustible resource for practice knowledge whose scope of insights spans across the design and construction disciplines. His expertise provides guidance for the design professionals to thread through complex and sensitive challenges facing the projects in a manner that thoughtfully considers the various constraints while seeking the broadest possibilities.

Earl has served the leading positions for the American Institute of Architects, including as President of AIA Waco as well as the CEU Committee Chairman and the Commissioner of Education of AIA Dallas.
